M&K Truck Centers, a full-service dealer of new and used heavy- and medium-duty trucks and trailers, recently acquired Volvo dealerships in Flint MI and Saginaw MI, increasing its footprint to 18 locations in four states – Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The two newly acquired dealerships previously were owned by Graff Truck Centers.
M&K now is the only Volvo dealer group with sites in Michigan, including seven dealerships, conveniently located in the Detroit (Romulus and Sterling Heights), Flint, Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo and Saginaw areas.
All locations are positioned along major freeways to serve fleets and owner-operators travelling through Michigan’s busiest trucking corridors. M&K, which also represents Wabash, Benson, East and Transcraft trailers, is an award-winning dealer group, and the 2017 Global Volvo Trucks Volume Sales Leader.
“M&K Truck Centers is honored to represent Volvo trucks in Central and Northern Michigan in addition to our existing Michigan AORs (West MI, Southeast MI and Eastern Upper Peninsula),” said Ted Pilecki, M&K’s president. “We look forward to growing the business by exceeding customer expectations and our commitment to industry best practices.”
M&K Truck Centers provides resources for parts, service, rentals and leasing. Professionally trained staff, including some of the most experienced diesel mechanics, parts specialists and salespeople in the industry, will be retained at both locations. With the Flint and Saginaw acquisitions, M&K now employs more than 800 people, including 300 trained technicians available for service at our 350 service bays.
