Trailer Safety Week returns June 7-13
The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers continues to take the lead in trailer safety and once again will organize Trailer Safety Week (TSW) in the first week of June, a program designed for NATM members and the trailer industry to unite in making our roads safer. TSW is dedicated to promoting safe trailering practices and educating end-users, dealers, and manufacturers on trailer safety.
Reaching hundreds of thousands annually and earning federal recognition for the third consecutive year in 2025, TSW is traffic safety initiative for light- and medium-duty trailers. NATM offers extensive resources and materials to support this vital mission, all available on the Trailer Safety Week website: TrailerSafetyWeek.com.
5 reasons NATM members should celebrate Trailer Safety Week
- NATM Members set the standard in safety-driven products and practices.
- Participation showcases your company's commitment to safer roadways for all.
- It facilitates collaboration with local government agencies.
- It strengthens unity within the trailer industry.
- It provides media exposure opportunities for involved companies.
Safety made easy
The NATM Team understands the fast-paced nature of spring and summer in the trailer industry, which is why June is the perfect time for TSW. It highlights safety amidst the busy, warm-weather activities that bring millions of trailers to our nation’s roadways. To support NATM Members during this peak season, the TSW team has developed the official TSW Communications Kit.
This kit includes pre-written social media posts, downloadable TSW graphics, blog posts, email invitations, and more. Updated annually, these resources are easily customizable to fit each company’s branding with minimal effort.
Additionally, the Trailer Safety Ally program offers companies eager to join the safety campaign a great opportunity, even with limited time. As a Trailer Safety Week Ally, NATM provides a Communications Kit that highlights the company’s participation in TSW while promoting safe trailering. The kit includes ready-to-use social media posts, downloadable graphics, blog posts, and more, customizable to feature specific products and services that enhance trailer safety. Becoming a Trailer Safety Week Ally signals to potential customers that safety is your priority.
The Trailer Safety Week Champion program honors companies that exceed expectations in supporting TSW, offering enhanced promotional opportunities. While Allies span the nation, Champions meet specific criteria and receive benefits detailed on the TSW website.
The Trailer Safety Week Partnership program acknowledges companies, organizations, and agencies that contribute to the TSW mission by creating and sharing educational content and resources. Partnerships require a significant commitment to developing and sharing educational material and must meet specific standards.
Visit TrailerSafetyWeek.com for more details on becoming a Trailer Safety Ally, Champion, or Partner. NATM is eager to partner with its members to advance safety in the light- and medium-duty trailer industry.
This year’s Trailer Safety Week will be held June 7-13.
