Wisconsin-based trailer manufacturer secures 2019 Most Improved Trailer Plant honor for its Plant 6 assembly facility

Stoughton Trailers recently secured a 2019 Plant Safety Award from the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA).

The family-owned, Wisconsin-based semi-trailer manufacturer received the Most Improved Trailer Plant honor for its Plant 6 main assembly facility in Stoughton WI.

TTMA’s Plant Safety Awards measure OSHA rates throughout the trailer industry.

Stoughton said “dozens” of manufacturing companies are eligible for the annual award, and estimates that 200 different manufacturing plants were up for consideration. Stoughton claimed the honor for the second straight year following a win by its Stoughton WI Plant 5 fabrication facility in 2018.

“Congratulations and a sincere thank you to all employees for making Plant 6 a safer place to work,” the company said. “A special thanks to our safety team who have worked so hard not only to achieve this award, but for the continued hard work and successes made during 2020 and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.”
