CIE Manufacturing recently added a new dealer to a growing network of dealers selling, servicing and carrying parts inventory for its intermodal chassis lines.
The new dealer, Fleet Equipment, is a sales and service operation that specializes in truck and trailer equipment. The company is headquartered in Memphis TN, with brand operations in Nashville TN, Dallas TX, Tupelo MS and Atlanta GA, for a total of 243 acres under the Fleet Equipment brand. Founded in 2000 by trucking industry executive Mark Welch, the company boasts extensive industry knowledge and experience, the ability to maintain large inventories for customers’ immediate needs, and an established reputation for excellent service-after-the-sale, CIE said.

The CIE Manufacturing dealer network currently encompasses 16 dealers with 66 locations, and has grown to be the largest network of intermodal chassis dealers in North America, CIE maintained. The company’s recent expansion into North American manufacturing at facilities in South Gate CA and Emporia VA are a key driver in the continued growth of its network model.
