GEFCO Inc, an Astec Industries Company, has sold its STECO Trailer product line to KNL Holdings, LLC (Peerless) of Paragould, Arkansas.

STECO manufactures transfer and dump trailers for use in the solid waste, scrap processing, construction and demolition industries. The company has been in business since the late 1950s.

The STECO line should complement the Peerless line of grain trailers and live floor transfer trailers. STECO had been part of GEFCO, which specializes in the design and manufacture of portable drilling rigs and related equipment for the water well, environmental, groundwater monitoring, construction, mining and shallow oil & gas exploration and production industries. GEFCO, headquartered in Enid, Oklahoma, decided to sell the Steco product line to focus on drilling rigs and drilling products, according to Aaron Harmon president of GEFCO.
