Work truck industry veteran Craig Bonham is joining Safe Fleet as the new vice president of the Work Truck business unit, an integral part of Safe Fleet’s Commercial and Passenger Transportation Group (CPTG).
Bonham will lead a team in sales, product development, engineering and customer service to envision, develop, manufacture and distribute innovative safety solutions for the work truck market.
Bonham is a current National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) board member and manufacturer trustee with an impressive track record of leading organizations through aggressive transformation to deliver rapid sales growth and market share gains.
“Craig’s reputation for building mutually beneficial relationships, coupled with his extensive work truck industry experience, make him an ideal choice to lead Safe Fleet’s Work Truck business unit,” adds John Knox, president of Safe Fleet.
He joins Safe Fleet from Reading Truck Body, a leading manufacturer of vocational work truck bodies, truck equipment, commercial trucks, and service vans, where he was most recently the vice president of sales and business development. At Reading, he provided strategic guidance to drive significant revenue growth, strengthening the company’s leadership position in the U.S. Prior to Reading, he spent 10 years with America’s Truck Body Company. During his tenure there he was a high-performing territory sales manager, and was then promoted to director of sales, training and business development.
