Cooper Kenworth recently opened a new parts and service facility in south Charlotte to provide enhanced customer support in North Carolina and to complement its full-service facility 30 miles to the north in Concord.
“The new Cooper Kenworth-South Charlotte location is one more step in our continuing efforts to be the best, most convenient business partner for truck users in the state of North Carolina,” said Alex Sykes, Cooper Kenworth, Inc. vice president of sales, based at the dealer’s headquarters in Durham, N.C. “By opening another location in the Charlotte area, we now offer more customer support with convenient access to parts and service.” Sykes said that is particularly important to companies in the construction market, which is a major market segment in the south Charlotte area.
A member of Kenworth’s dealer network of nearly 300 locations in the United States and Canada, Cooper Kenworth-South Charlotte is a 26,000 square-foot facility situated on 5 1/2 acres. It has seven Kenworth service bays, extensive parts selection, convenient parts delivery, and a customer lounge with a large flat screen and complimentary wireless access. Since it serves as the location for the company’s local PacLease franchise, Cooper PacLease-South Charlotte also has five service bays for PacLease customers.
“With the addition of this newest location, our company’s network of nine dealership and 11 leasing locations gives us the most comprehensive coverage of any dealership group in the state,” Sykes said. “Our commitment to customer service is already strong and getting even stronger.”
Cooper Kenworth-South Charlotte is located at 230 E. Westinghouse Blvd., less than a mile southeast of the U.S. Interstate 85 and U.S. Interstate 77 interchange.
