Trailer Tech Expo rolls into Reno
Over 60 technology-focused exhibitors showcased their innovations, services, and products, providing attendees with the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in the trailer industry.
Overall, Trailer Tech Expo delivered a mix of educational opportunities both on and off the show floor, featuring 11 technical classes led by Dexter’s Bill Snider—many reaching full capacity—along with nine dealer education sessions and six exhibitor-led Innovation Stage presentations.
Event highlights
The dealer education program, sponsored by Dura-Haul Trailers, offered Tow Talks and sessions covering topics such as technology and AI in sales and operations, dealership succession planning, recruiting and retaining employees, and measuring service productivity.
Industry experts such as Sara Hey from Bob Clements International, Kent Lewis from FreeGren, and Jeff Robertson from Jeff Robertson Consulting shared their insights.
The technician training sessions provided an expansive hands-on technician training curriculum. Partnering with Dexter, technicians had the chance to earn credit towards the new NATDA certification program.
The technology-driven expo hall—where exhibitors were required to showcase new technologies—featured interactive displays and demonstrations of a range of products, design enhancements, and partnerships from trailer and truck bed manufacturers, as well as industry vendors.
