Hilltip adds high-capacity electric sprayer to SprayStriker line

Sept. 15, 2023
The company's new series of de-icing sprayers feature electric-driven, high-flow pumps and are available in 12-volt models with a 24-volt kit for greater spray volumes

Hilltip’s new SprayStriker HFE (Hi-Flow Electric) series de-icing sprayers are the largest sprayers in the SprayStriker product family and feature electric-driven high-flow pumps. Available with tank capacities from 500 to 3,250 gallons, the truck-bed-mounted HFE series units are intended for municipalities and large contractors.

The models offer a high-performance, environmentally friendly solution for winter maintenance, the company says. The sprayers include specialized dual high-flow pumps and flow meters to pump exact application rates on demand with instant responsiveness.

Because no bypass system is used, energy requirements are significantly reduced, and the units can be fully powered by the vehicle’s electrical system. As a result, the HFE series is zero emission, and it does not require the truck to be equipped with a central hydraulic system.

The standard 12-volt models are capable of spray volumes up to 15 gpm. A 24-volt kit is available for producing spray volumes up to 30 gpm.
