The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) recently recognized new and renewing members of its Member Verification Program (MVP), including specialty trailer and truck body manufacturer Mickey Truck Bodies in High Point NC.
Truck equipment manufacturers and distributors with MVP status have implemented specific business and quality standards and comply with federal regulations, NTEA said.
“Achieving MVP status recognizes our company as one of the leaders in industry excellence and validates our efforts toward bettering the work truck industry through professionalism, knowledge and performance,” said Mike Tucker, Mickey president and CEO. “Because standards don’t raise themselves, MVP acknowledges the companies that are leading the industry to excellence.
“Mickey’s MVP member status reflects our ongoing commitment to quality.”
The other new MVP members are:
- Axton Truck Equipment (Cibolo TX)
- Clark Truck Equipment (Crawfordsville IN)
- Dealers Truck Equipment (Shreveport LA)
- Dealers Truck Equipment (Willis TX)
- Knapheide Truck Equipment Center (Birmingham AL)
Current NTEA distributor and manufacturer members are encouraged to apply for MVP status at any time. There is no charge—NTEA underwrites the cost of MVP as part of an ongoing effort to enhance the core competencies of its members. Once qualified, companies receive MVP status for a three-year term.
To renew, MVP members must again document compliance, ensuring their ongoing commitment to professionalism, industry knowledge and high performance.
