Terex Utilities, Boston dealer unveil custom America 250 bucket trucks
Terex Utilities and James A. Kiley Company, a long-time Terex dealer in Boston, have unveiled two custom-wrapped bucket trucks celebrating America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
Terex Utilities and Kiley partnered to create the trucks as a tribute to 250 years of American freedom, service, and pioneering. A custom red, white, and blue wrap was made and inspired by all the hardworking utility crews that keep America connected every day, the companies noted.
The units made their debut at the Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC) in Williamsburg, Virginia, June 1.
Kiley’s truck is an Optima HRX55 bucket truck.
“As a Terex dealer in the Northeast we are proud of the equipment we build for our customers and we are proud of our country,” Jim Kiley of James A. Kiley Company said. “This custom truck embodies that pride and patriotism that we pour into our equipment.”
Terex Utilities wrapped a TRX52 telescopic bucket truck with a similar design that also celebrates 250 years of America’s independence. The truck will be used for demonstrations for utility crews throughout the United States this summer.
“Williamsburg, Virginia, was one of the first locations where America’s independence was celebrated 250 years ago and we thought EUFMC would be the perfect location to show off our American-made bucket trucks and this tribute to the nation’s 250th birthday,” Terex Utilities Product Marketing Manager Tyler Schwingler said.
Following its debut at EUFMC, Terex Utilities’ TRX52 will be making stops at events in Minnesota, Texas, and Nebraska through the end of July.
