Morgan Truck Body and its subsidiary, Morgan Canada Corporation, recently acquired Multivans Inc, which is located in Bolton, Ontario, Canada.
Multivans will continue to operate as a separate entity as Morgan–Multivans Canada Corporation, and a “seamless” transition is expected, the company said.
“Our company continues to solidify our position as the market leader in the truck body industry,” said Norb Markert, president and COO of Morgan. “We have achieved strong organic growth over the past five years and are continuously evaluating acquisitions to better serve our customers.”
Multivans is the largest truck body manufacturer in Canada, Morgan said.
“This new addition to our team further increases our market share and capacity to fuel our growth,” Markert said. “This is an exciting time for our company. We are pleased to have Multivans join the Morgan family.”
Specializing in final-mile transportation solutions for more than 65 years, Morgan recently began production in its 12th manufacturing facility (Plainfield CT), and previously announced plans to open an additional plant in the Midwest within the next several months.
