Frank Scotto Towing secures first 50/60 Ton JFB Rotator sold in California

Jerr-Dan Corporation recently expanded its West Coast presence with the sale of its first heavy-duty rotator, a 50/60 Ton JFB Rotator tandem steer, in California to Frank Scotto Towing in Torrance CA.

“We are honored that Frank Scotto Towing and the Van Lingen Group would be the first to secure a Jerr-Dan rotator in California,” said Jeff Irr, senior director of marketing and sales for Jerr-Dan.

“As we expand our presence and offerings on the West Coast, we continue to partner with our Jerr-Dan distributors to offer towers the solutions they need.”

Frank Scotto Towing, part of the Van Lingen Group, is a third-generation, family-owned and operated business in southern Los Angeles.

“We find the Jerr-Dan to be the best rotator in the market,” said Sean Van Lingen, vice president of Van Lingen. “Between the ease of use, increased storage solutions, top of the line outrigger stability and the most reach in the industry, it was an easy decision for us to purchase this Jerr-Dan Rotator.

“Jerr-Dan’s products continue to exceed industry standards and that was very important to us since California has complex requirements for the towing industry.”

Engineered to undertake the toughest challenges with available configurations to meet California’s regulations, Jerr-Dan’s product line provides competitive advantage while affording long-term added-value, the company said.

The Jerr-Dan 50/60 Ton JFB Rotator boasts a combination of heavy-duty capabilities, superior stabilizing technology, 360-degree rotation, and “impressive” power and pulling capacity. The Jerr-Dan Fire Body (JFB) Series has a rugged, non-corrosive exterior made of weather-tight, impact-resistant polypropylene, making it more durable while lowering long-term cost of ownership.

It features roll-up aluminum doors for swift access to equipment, strategically placed LED lighting for improved visibility and specialty storage solutions to ensure every tool has its place.

To make this deal happen, Frank Scotto Towing contacted its Jerr-Dan distributor, Hydraulic Shop Inc in Bloomington CA, which assisted them with the purchase.

“When Frank Scotto Towing told us they wanted to purchase a rotator, we immediately stepped in and assisted them in determining the one that would fit their business needs,” said Josh Lovelace, sales and service manager for Hydraulic Shop. “We were pleased and grateful to (the) Jerr-Dan team, from sales to engineering staff, who assisted us with every detail.

“Like Jerr-Dan, we are in the business of fostering relationships with our customers to deliver products that suit their business needs.”
