Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, the industry’s largest manufacturer of refrigerated trailers and a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, flatbeds, and Tautliner curtainsided trailers reports that Bill Nichols, its sales representative for Utility Trailer Sales of Central California, was honored at this year’s California Trucking Association (CTA) Conference. Nichols has worked in the transportation industry for over 50 years and was honored for his dedication and impact on the industry during the conference at the U.S. Grant Hotel in Downtown San Diego, CA.
Nichols was recognized among other key figures for their significant impact on the industry and the people in it.
“Bill has been a great ambassador for the organization throughout his career,” said Cory Pasek, Vice President, Sales and Operations for Utility Trailer of Northern and Central CA. “His work was instrumental in the Agriculture Equipment and Food Service Distribution industries for Utility. He was involved with the optimization and development of the equipment. On top of that, Bill has also been a great leader and community member for our team, and I have been privileged to have learned from him”
The CTA conference occurred in late January and centered on the future of the transportation industry. The conference was themed, “Defining Our Future” and conference speakers addressed the current issues and obstacles of the transportation industry, with an emphasis on the new direction and solutions of the future. “As these speakers looked to 'Define the Future', they did so with an appreciation for the dedicated people and leaders like Bill whose work and dedication have made such conversations possible,” said Pasek.
