Netherlands trailer manufacturer Talson Trailers is incorporating the operations of Van Eck Group, which recently was declared bankrupt, giving the fellow Dutch trailer manufacturer new life.
Talson, headquartered in Venlo, said the 100-year-old company will continue operations as Van Eck Trailers BV based in Venlo, and maintain production, sales and aftermarket activities in Beesd, Netherlands.
“Talson and Van Eck have both been at the forefront of innovation, developing roller-bed trailers for air cargo and double-deck solutions concurrently during the 1980s, (and) R&D operations still remain the driving forces for both,” Talson said.
“Talson and Van Eck are presenting customers with highest-quality and sustainable solutions that are tailored to their needs.”
Integration of Talson’s resources, empowering quality, customer-centric innovation and Van Eck’s time-honored “Eckcellence,” will benefit Netherlands’ economy, employees, customers and suppliers in the special trailers industry in reaching the goal of EU sustainability targets, the company said.
