HTI tours America 250 trailer

The install on an HTI Utility reefer took 17 hours over the course of two days, applying 20 different panels with 10 on each side

Family-owned trucking company HTI Hall Trucking Express is commemorating the nation’s 250th birthday with a rolling reminder of where the country started, where it’s been, and how far it’s come with a celebratory vinyl wrap on one of its trailers. The wrap depicts a timeline of U.S. history, accompanied by images of George Washington, scenes from past wars, and more.

The idea to wrap one of Findlay, Ohio-based HTI’s trailers for America’s 250th birthday originated with Taylor Ireland of HTI’s operations team in fall 2024, after a museum visit in which the director urged local companies to contribute to the Semiquincentennial celebration.

Through the help of a local designer, Greg Hogrefe with Hogrefe Illustration & Design, the idea was finally brought to life in December 2025.  The install on an HTI Utility reefer took 17 hours over the course of two days, applying 20 different panels with 10 on each side.

Ireland described her hopes for the trailer: "To have the trailer impact people the way it has impacted me. To stand there and know what it took to get us to where we are today. To bring our country together.”
