Timpte launches e-commerce platforms
Timpte Inc. has launched two new e-commerce platforms designed to better serve customers and expand access to its growing portfolio of products and aftermarket solutions.
The new platforms, the Thunder Armor store and the Timpte Equipment Trailer store represent a strategic step forward in how Timpte connects with customers by offering direct-to-end-user purchasing capabilities alongside its established dealer network, according to the company.
“Our customers’ needs are evolving, and so are their buying behaviors,” said Tim Carpenter, Timpte president & CEO. “These platforms allow us to meet customers where they are while maintaining the strength of our traditional channels. It’s about creating more ways to do business with Timpte.”
The Thunder Armor platform showcases Timpte’s line of premium aluminum truck bed covers, manufactured by its Thunderstone Manufacturing division, and designed for durability, security, and all-weather performance. The site allows customers to easily identify the correct product for their vehicle and purchase directly online.
The Timpte Equipment Trailer Store offers a streamlined buying experience for aluminum equipment trailers and related products, supporting both commercial and consumer customers. The platform is designed to simplify product selection, provide transparent pricing, and improve overall purchasing convenience.
“The ability for us to transact directly with our customers in this fashion allows us to better serve and communicate with the market,” said Dean Powell, SVP sales and marketing at Timpte. “Our quality, durability, and now speed to market are advantages that will continue to set our products and services apart from the competition.”
The launch of these platforms reflects Timpte’s continued investment in innovation and customer experience, the company suggested. The company has expanded its capabilities in recent years, including the addition of new product lines and advanced manufacturing operations at its Lincoln, Nebraska facility, which supports truck covers, equipment trailer production, and aftermarket distribution.
“These new platforms are an important evolution for Timpte,” said Matt Ondrejko, director of marketing. “While our core dry bulk trailer business continues to be built on strong relationships through our dealer and customer support center network, we recognized an opportunity to better serve customers seeking equipment trailers, truck bed covers, and aftermarket solutions through a more direct and accessible digital experience.”
The new e-commerce sites were developed through collaboration between Timpte’s internal teams and a network of marketing, sales, and technology partners, ensuring a seamless user experience aligned with the company’s long-standing commitment to quality and service.
Both platforms are now live and available to customers nationwide.
