IAA gallery: Trailers, truck bodies, upfits from Europe

HANNOVER, GERMANY. Imagine a combination of the Mid-America Trucking Show and the Work Truck Show, along with a bus and coach show and a parking lot full of aerials, throw in a job fair, and then imagine all that multiplied several times over and you’d have the biennial IAA Commercial Vehicles show.

For the week-long 67th IAA, more than 2,000 journalists from 54 countries were accredited by the Sept. 19 Press Day preview. This year’s theme, the New Mobility World, focused on the question of how transport and logistics can be made even more efficient, greener and smarter.

Trailer/Body BUILDERS was on hand and we’ll have complete coverage in an upcoming issue, but until then we’ll be posting news of note and, of course, some galleries.

Above, we feature a collection of equipment brands that might not be familiar in North America but whose products will certainly spark a sense of familiarity—and maybe even ignite a fresh idea or two.
