Manac, Canada’s largest semi-trailer manufacturer, recently completed the acquisition of Alutrec, a manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of aluminum semi-trailers from Laurier-Station in Quebec.

Alutrec and Manac will work together to further develop the significant potential that Alutrec’s assets represent, whether it pertains to the strategic location of the Laurier-Station 200,000-square-foot site, the experienced workforce which makes up the Alutrec team or the innovative intellectual property that it owns.

Supported by Manac’s experienced leadership team, Alutrec will continue to operate independently out of its Laurier Station location, the company said. Manac’s support will focus mainly on component purchasing, manufacturing processes and marketing strategies.
