The National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) is seeking nominations to fill two dealer openings on its 2018-19 board of directors.

Elected members begin three-year terms of service at the Oct. 3 board meeting scheduled during the 28th Annual NTDA Convention at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs CO.

Eligible candidates may nominate themselves or fellow individuals employed by member companies in good standing. Visit the NTDA Web site to review criteria and submit nominations no later than May 31.

The NTDA Board of Directors is composed of 12 members, nine elected from dealer membership and three from allied membership. Board chairman Dale Martens (dealer director) and Jamey Vaughn (dealer director), treasurer, plan to retire in October.

To qualify as a nominee for director of the association, a candidate must be a chief executive officer, chief operating officer, other officer or hold another senior management position, although the Board of Directors may choose to waive this requirement.

Further, to qualify, a nominee must be an NTDA dealer or allied member in good standing for a minimum of two years (24 months) and have attended at least one annual convention of the association.
