Stoops Freightliner – Quality Trailer is expanding its footprint into Michigan, the Truck Country division reported.
Stoops has reached an agreement to acquire TNT Trailer Sales, a full-service semi-trailer dealership located in suburban Detroit. The acquisition is expected to be finalized this spring.
TNT Trailer Sales is a Wabash and Extreme Trailers dealership, specializing in new and used trailer sales. TNT has full service and parts departments to handle all transportation needs.
“The purchase of TNT Trailer Sales is a natural acquisition for Stoops Quality Trailer, as we looked to expand our business impression beyond Indiana and Ohio,” Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailer President Brian McCoy said. “We look forward to not only serve new customers in Michigan, but also to have an expanded network of dealerships to serve our current customers, no matter where their travels take them.”
TNT Trailer Sales will keep its name, while all 32 teammates will be retained following completion of the acquisition.
