OTC DAIHEN, a supplier of advanced manual and robotic welding systems, recently expanded its robot lineup with the introduction of the FD-V100.
With expanded payload and reach, this FD-series robot is equipped for general purpose applications, the company said, including material handling, part finishing, dispensing, and machine load/unload and weldment handling-plus-positioning.
“With the FD-V100 introduction, we honor our legacy as a robot innovator,” said Luke Kadota, vice president of OTC DAIHEN, which has built commercial robots since 1980.
With features such as repeatability, footprint, slim arm and speed, the FD-V100 includes all the advantages of the FD Friendly series of robots:
- Intuitive operation via a pendant that includes a touch-screen interface and jog dial for easy operation
- Compact and eco-friendly controller with space-saving design and low standby power consumption
- Best warranty in the industry—3 years parts, 1 year labor
“The expanded capacity and reach of the new FD-V100 robot will support new, increased productivity for our customers,” said Mike Monnin, general manager of OTC DAIHEN.
