The Aebi Schmidt Group recently acquired Oshkosh Corporation’s Snow Products Business. The deal will be integrated into the operations of Aebi Schmidt’s subsidiary, M-B Companies, Inc., headquartered in Chilton, Wisconsin.
Swizterland-based Aebi Schmidt will use this opportunity to expand its own snow products position in North America, according to the announcement.
“The acquisition also makes a lot of sense for us from a business point of view,” Steffen Schewerda, CEO Aebi Schmidt North America, said. “The integration of the acquired business at M-B’s Chilton location will further utilize the new production facility built there in 2021/22.”
The acquisition will also benefit Oshkosh's existing customers, added Barend Fruithof, group CEO of Aebi Schmidt.
“Aebi Schmidt has extensive industry experience and an extensive customer network,” said Fruithof. And we ourselves see an opportunity to further expand our After Sales business.”
