Grote Industries is expanding its engineering and production facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
The heavy-duty vehicle lighting and safety systems manufacturer said the expansion of Grote Industries de Mexico is expected to be completed by July 31.
Grote designs and manufacturers power cords, trailer wire harnesses, cables, and air-line products at the location. The expansion will add production and manufacturing space, as well as shipping capacity and staff space, the company said. Grote also plans to grow its in-house design team in conjunction with the physical expansion.
“This additional investment will ensure that Grote’s capacity for innovative product development grows in line with customer needs, now and in the future,” the company maintained.
Grote Industries has been in business for 120 years, during which time it has grown from a small company to an industry-leading manufacturer with a global footprint of production facilities spanning three continents.
