HDAW 2020 adding improved one-on-one business meetings

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2020 will feature “new and improved” one-on-one business meetings.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2020 will feature “new and improved” one-on-one business meetings designed to match distributors with priority suppliers for private, personalized business conversations.

These one-on-one meetings, each 35 minutes in length, will take place in one designated location during the conference, which runs Jan 29-30, 2020, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine TX.

HDAW’s new MeetMax online one-on-one scheduling software offers a user-friendly interface where distributors select and rank at least 30 preferred suppliers according to their interest level. Schedules will be based on mutual selections, resulting in quality, preferred appointments for distributors and suppliers alike, organizers said. HDAW’s business meetings schedules will be provided in advance of the event, giving delegates the opportunity to prepare and manually request meetings to fill remaining time slots.

“HDAW provides the industry with a premier platform for zeroing in on business opportunities and makes connecting with key decision makers convenient, cost effective and personalized,” said Sean Ryan, president and treasurer at Point Spring & Driveshaft Co, and HDAW ’20 distributor co-chair. “Our newly refined one-on-one business meetings will allow distributors to receive products and pricing tailored to their business needs in a direct, one-on-one format.”

Every element of HDAW is located in the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center. Modular conference rooms will be located adjacent to the HDAW Product Expo, with additional meeting rooms directly above on the third floor. There is no cost for distributors to participate in one-on-one business meetings, but space is limited. Distributors must commit to participate by Nov 15.

Go to hdaw.org/2020/public/Content.aspx?ID=1458&sortMenu=106002 to register.

“One-on-one business meetings are where HDAW deals get done,” said Tim Bauer, vice president of Eaton Aftermarket North America, and HDAW ’20 supplier co-chair. “These arrangements provide direct contact with key decision makers to discuss policies that are not normally handled by sales personnel. Distributors can expect to have honest and open discussions with senior executives from selected supplying companies.”

Registration for HDAW ’20 is open. Visit hdaw.org for more information.
