TransitWorks recently changed its name to Driverge Vehicle Innovations, reflecting its expanding capabilities and providing a broader platform for growth, the company said.
Driverge specializes in turning full-size vans and minivans into “efficient, reliable” commercial wheelchair transportation, accessible taxis, people transporters, shuttles, work crew vans and more.
“Our transition to Driverge reflects the ongoing growth and development of our business, our team and, most importantly, our customers,” said Mark Minatel, president at Driverge. “As we grow with our customers, the name Driverge provides us opportunities in new market channels to innovate and utilize our ever-growing strengths as a partner.”
The newly named company said its goal remains “driving product innovation and manufacturing quality for customers and partners.”
“Who we were as TransitWorks is still at the core of our business model,” Minatel said. “Driverge allows us to continue to lead in our current markets while also launching into new markets we have worked with our customers to develop.
“This is our next step, driving our team to continued innovation, meeting the needs of our ever-changing customers and merging our objectives with theirs.”
The new Driverge identity and tagline project an expanding future for a business ideally positioned to meet customers’ changing needs and varied circumstances, Driverge said.
