Teresa Aquaro, President of Tara Commercial Vehicle Consulting Services, Inc. announced that the company will offer a 1½-day sales training seminar for truck equipment salespersons. The program, Commercial Vehicle Sales, a New View, is designed to enhance the skills of all truck equipment salespersons and provide them with the tools necessary to become an even more valuable resource to their customers.
The course design provides a new sales technique that combines technoloy knowledge with selling skills. Presentation, consultation, and organization, along with a detailed overview of the current fleet of commercial vehicle chassis, are some of the key discussion points of the program. The “Art of Explanation” is discussed in conjunction with 21st century automotive science.
“When the customer sees and understands the value of the salesperson, the distributor or dealer and the product, he will buy the product.” stated Aquaro. “This course will provide the tools to present the product, including the truck chassis, in an intelligent way that the customer will appreciate and thus reward the salesperson with a purchase. Another important goal of the program is to train salespersons to hold a respectable profit even in this down economy.”
