The Association of Bi-State Motor Carriers recently recognized TRAC Intermodal as the Best Overall Chassis Provider in the Port of New York-New Jersey for the third consecutive year.
James Bowe, TRAC Intermodal’s senior vice president and chief commercial officer, also received the Dick Jones Award for Outstanding Assistance and Customer Service.
“Providing drivers with reliable, good quality equipment while offering responsive customer service is a key part of the port’s ongoing growth and success,” said Jeff Bader, Bi-State Motor Carriers president.
“Our members once again chose to recognize the outstanding efforts of TRAC Intermodal and honor them as the chassis provider who best fulfilled these demands during the past year.”
TRAC said it has made “significant” investments in the NY-NJ Market, including upgrading 45 percent of its Metro Pool fleet with premium chassis, featuring OEM tires, LED lights and other high-quality components.
“We’re honored to receive this recognition from the Association of Bi-State Motor Carriers,” said Jennifer Polli, TRAC’s president and chief executive officer. “We strive to provide TRAC customers with convenient access to high-quality equipment and best-in-class customer support to meet their needs for chassis safety and reliability.”
