ZF Meritor LLC, a joint venture of ZF Friedrichshafen and ArvinMeritor Inc, has selected Nexiq Technologies to provide the eTechnician Web-based diagnostic tool for its FreedomLine and SureShift transmissions.
The wireless system offers remote, universal two-way messaging between the vehicle and ZF Meritor technicians and dealers. eTechnician delivers remote diagnostics and command/control applications such as vehicle location, alert notifications, vehicle configuration identification, enhanced data storage, fuel economy information, and route management through mobile dispatch. It is available as an OEM-installed or an aftermarket-installed option.
