Exhibit space at The Work Truck Show 2009 is nearly sold out, and many long-time exhibitors have reserved much larger booths than in the past, according to the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), which produces the annual commercial truck and equipment event.

The Work Truck Show 2009 is North America’s largest work truck event. It is held in conjunction with the 45th Annual NTEA Convention, March 4-6, 2009, at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago, IL. The convention runs March 3-6.

“Exhibitors are excited about our Chicago location and are buoyed by the success they had at the Work Truck Show 2008,” says Andrew Outcalt, NTEA convention chairman and president of Meyer Products LLC and Swenson Spreader LLC (Cleveland, OH). “As a result, many have invested in more booth space and have reserved their space earlier, to ensure that they are not left out. This is good news for show attendees, who will benefit from exploring the extensive array of new and innovative products on display and talking one-on-one with engineers and other technical personnel staffing the exhibits.”

Booth space at the show is more than 95 percent sold. Companies that want to reach vocational, municipal and private truck fleet managers, truck buyers, dealers and distributors from the Class 1–8 market are encouraged to call the NTEA to reserve booth space soon.

Registration for The Work Truck Show 2009 and NTEA Convention opens Wednesday, Oct. 1. At that time, visit www.ntea.com to register and make hotel reservations through the NTEA Convention Housing Bureau. Register by Jan. 16, 2009, to take advantage of Early Bird discounts. Making hotel reservations early is recommended, since hotel rooms for The Work Truck Show 2008 sold out quickly.

The Work Truck Show brings together the latest full-size work trucks and equipment, along with individual vehicle components offered by hundreds of suppliers. The event also features top-notch, industry-specific technical and business-management training sessions.
