Patrick E. Quinn, Co-Chairman and President, U.S. Xpress Enterprises Inc., will provide the keynote address to an expected audience of 500 attendees at the upcoming Faster Freight-Cleaner Air (FFCA) East Coast conference in New York City.

FFCA East Coast will highlight green technologies and strategies for the goods movement industry that improve efficiency, reduce the impact of soaring energy costs and reduce the environmental footprint of freight movement. The summit will take place July 8-10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY.

Quinn will address the critical need for a sound national goods movement strategy that focuses on long-term economic and environmental sustainability.

In addition to his role as the co-founder and president of one of the nation's largest trucking companies, Quinn is a Congressional appointee to the bipartisan 12-member National Surface Transportation Policy and Revenue Study Commission. In this capacity, Quinn played a leading role in developing and recently launching the Transportation for Tomorrow report, a comprehensive plan highlighting how and why an efficient surface transportation system is vital to the future economic growth, international competitiveness and social well-being of the nation.
