Commercial vehicle system provider Trax Mechanical Systems is changing its name to AXN Heavy Duty LLC. The change, which is effective immediately, is being done to identify and distinguish itself from other North American component suppliers.
Since the launch of its operations in Louisville KY earlier in 2010, AXN has been providing trailer axles, trailer landing gear, and friction products to both OEM and aftermarket customers. Other product launches are scheduled over the next several months, including truck steer and drive axles, as well as trailer air suspensions.
