Brenner Tank LLC has appointed Bruce D Yakley president and chief operating officer. Most recently, he served as vice-president and general manager of Federal Signal Inc's Refuse Vehicle Division.

Jeff Wallis has been named general manager of parts sales and marketing for Freightliner. He replaces Michele Calbi, who recently left the company to pursue other interests within the industry. Wallis comes to Freightliner from Detroit Diesel Corp, where he most recently was senior vice-president of parts, service, and customer support.

Henderson Mfg Inc has named Janet Tobin contract administration manager. She has served as production and inventory control manager since 1996.

Crysteel Mfg Inc has named Tim Dow territory manager for New England, and he will be based in Manchester NH. Dow the spent the past 13 years working for a regional dump body manufacturer. Crysteel has promoted Jeri Retzlaff to inside sales and marketing manager. Don Wolle has been promoted to warranty and technical service manager.

Stellar Industries Inc has appointed Sean Moran its new sales and marketing manager. He has experience in the truck equipment industry and a background in business development, marketing communications, product management, and dealer programming. Stellar also named Matt Schroeder, previously a design engineer for the firm, as engineering manager.

J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers, a division of Somerset Welding & Steel Inc, has named Mike Long director of Asian sales. Most recently, he served as a sales representative for J&J Truck Equipment, another division of Somerset.

Peter A Harrison has joined TruckCraft Corp to fill a newly created inside sales position. He previously owned and operated a service industry business for more than 20 years.

Nissan Diesel America (NDA) has promoted Kent Thompson to national sales training manager. He was formerly district manager in NDA's Capitol District, composed of North and South Carolina, eastern Tennessee, Virginia, and Maryland.

Volvo Financial Services announced that Martin (“Marty”) Weissburg will become president and chief executive officer of Volvo Commercial Finance (VCF), its North American captive finance company. He succeeds Jim Ryan, who is retiring. Weissburg previously was president of Great Dane Financial and a senior vice-president of Orix Financial.
