Boss Industries has unveiled the Engineered-To-Order (ETO) System, a new service that could change the way utility, telecommunications, construction, and municipality markets order and purchase task-oriented vehicles.

The ETO System is a process that lets the user get a single, integrated customized crew truck. This process starts with a Boss distributor. Initial meetings are held between distributor and end user to review existing crew trucks and increase understanding. After this meeting, the Boss team — distributors, engineers, and support staff — gathers data and resources, creates preliminary engineering specifications and drawings for review, provides a quotation, and presents the user with the findings and recommendations. If necessary, specifications/drawings are fine-tuned, and upon receipt of the user's purchase order, the crew truck is built to these specifications and delivered.
