Stellar Industries Inc is introducing the Slider65 hooklift loader, a sliding jib-style hooklift with a maximum lifting capacity of 65,000 pounds. The sliding jib allows the Slider65 to accommodate container bodies varying in length from 16 to 22 feet while attaining the maximum dump angle of 49°. It can also accommodate flatbeds up to 24 feet long. The Slider65 replaces the previous 190-24-50 and 190-24-60 Slider models.
This loader features an adjustable hook height of either 54 inches or 61.75 inches. Users who may have previously operated a smaller hooklift, recently acquired bodies with different hook rod heights, or operated another brand of hooklift can upgrade their system without converting the skids on the bodies. Another new feature of the Slider65 is the use of the hexagonal jib. Its geometric shape adds strength, reduces flexing, and makes it easier to replace wear pads. The weight of the Slider65 has been reduced by more than 1,600 pounds.
