Grumman Olson Industries' WorkMax shop van was developed for commercial and independent contractors to combine methods for organizing tools and materials without compromising space for work-related tasks.

Available on a General Motors chassis, the WorkMax offers interior lengths of 10 and 12 feet, providing room to load and carry plywood and other bulky materials, and up to 124 cubic feet of compartment storage space. The two horizontal exterior compartment doors are also designed as workbenches, with each offering more than 8 square feet of surface area and a weight rating of up to 300 pounds.

The WorkMax features water-resistant, dual compartment door seals, aluminum piano-style compartment door hinges, three interior dome lights, plus an optional Master Lock system. A 10" “pooched” bumper and two aluminum grab handles also facilitate vehicle access.

Options include aluminum treadplate overlay flooring, a rear panel access door allowing transport of items more than 12 feet long, a storage space within the water-resistant wind faring, an interior electrical strip, 12-point adjustable shelves, and a pass-through door allowing cab access to the body.
