Russell Warren acquires certain SEI assets

Russell Warren has purchased certain assets of Brad and Debra Stovall and the Talco TX-based SEI (Stovall Equipment Inc). Warren Truck & Trailer LLC has been formed to operate this new facility. The address, (PO Box 425, Talco TX 75487-0425) phone and fax numbers 903-379-3921, toll free 888-734-4400, and fax 903-379-4400 will remain the same, and many SEI employees will continue with the new operation.

Warren will continue to build dump truck bodies and trailers at Talco and will stock, sell, and service all other Warren products. These include bulk feed bodies and trailers manufactured by Warren Mfg Inc in Birmingham AL; steel and aluminum dump bodies and trailers, water tanks, hydraulic cylinders, dump hoists, agricultural and ice control spreaders, and jockey fifthwheels built by Warren Inc in Collins MS; and aluminum dump bodies and trailers as well as the E-Z Ride Suspensions produced by Warren Equipment Inc in Plant City FL.

Warren Truck & Trailer LLC will develop a service department for repairing most types of truck trailers and will take on other lines of truck equipment at Talco. Along with the aforementioned manufacturing facilities, Warren Truck Equipment operates as a full-line truck equipment sales, service, and repair facility in Columbia SC and at Bama Bodies Inc in Birmingham AL.

Addition of the Talco location expands Warren's ability to service the municipal and private sector, plus focus on the poultry industry with its feed-hauling equipment, rendering trailers, and litter spreaders.

Art Henderson, a longtime SEI employee, will serve as general manager of the new company. Shawn Findley, also a former SEI employee, will be parts and service manager. The new company has been open for business since Jan 6, 2003.
