Bob joined the business in 1978 and has been a driving force behind the growth of International in Mexico .With more than 20 million people in Mexico City, Camiones Especiales serves the largest and most competitive marketplace in Mexico. Camiones Especiales has thrived through all cycles of the Mexican economy.”
Navistar chose Camiones Especiales as the International Dealer of the Year because it was among the highest performing International Truck dealers for sales and after market support in 2009. During one of the most difficult truck markets in years, the distributor delivered more trucks than any other Mexican distributor. Additionally, Camiones Especiales built a new state-of-the-art facility in 2009, expanding its market coverage to support the International brand.
“This award is a great honor for everyone at Camiones Especiales because it recognizes all the hard work and professionalism we bring to our customers in Mexico City,” Swaine said. “I accept the Dealer of the Year award on behalf of our incredibly talented team of truck professionals and our loyal customers at each of our five Camiones Especiales locations. This award is recognition of all the successful relationships we’ve built with our customers throughout Mexico City. Our customers rely on us to keep their businesses growing—and our International products and support are even more important to customers during these tough economic times.”
