The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) recently released its revised Truck Equipment Handbook. This handbook provides dealers and distributors with the technical and regulatory information needed to spec commercial vehicles for their customers and the end-user.

Information in the handbook includes: formulas for matching chassis and bodies, center of gravity, wheelbase and fifthwheel location, and fluid power; weights of commodities; metric conversion charts; federal lighting standards; component descriptions; tire information; rear impact guard information; Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards summary; glossary of truck equipment terminology; applications and installation considerations and requirements; and engineering calculations. Charts, graphs, diagrams, and illustrations are included.
