Moffett Engineering, producer of truck-mounted forklifts, recently enlarged its Irish production facility in Dundalk, County Louth.

Overseeing the April 7, 2006, inaugural ceremony was Dermot Ahern T D, minister for foreign affairs. Also present were Pekka Vartiainen, president of Hiab group; and Keith Quigley, managing director of Moffett Engineering. Also attending were some 150 Moffett dealers and salespeople from around the world.

This expanded facility includes a technically advanced paint shop, welding robots, and three modern assembly lines. The factory has a large research and development department and includes a testing range for truck-mounted forklifts.

The factory has doubled its capacity over the past few years.
