Since 1926, Meyer snowplows have been pushing Old Man Winter out of the way. Beginning in Newburgh NY, the idea of attaching a moldboard to an automobile to clear snow from a driveway was published in a local newspaper. The idea worked, and readers asked where they could purchase the Meyer Auto Snow Plow — and a company was born.

Meyer manufactures snowplows for small utility vehicles or heavy-duty trucks, and offers a line of ice control spreaders. Breakthroughs it produced include high-efficiency polyethylene moldboards and push-button solenoid-controlled snowplow movements.

More than 500 locations in the United States sell and service Meyer products, along with locations in more than 30 nations.
