Manac USA building riveted aluminum flat

Manac, the Canadian company with headquarters in St Georges, Quebec, is building all-aluminum platform trailers in Missouri. Production of this aluminum flatbed started in February at Manac's Oran MO plant. It features a riveted design in which the T-section beam flanges are riveted to the web section. Main beams are rated at 100,000 lb evenly distributed, or 60,000 lb in four feet. The extruded floor is screwed to the crossmembers. This 122" spread-axle trailer uses Hendrickson Intraax axle/suspensions. With aluminum hubs and wheels, the 48-ft, 122"-wide platform scales 9,089 lb.
