Manac announces Holland CB400 as standard air suspension

Manac Inc. announced that The Holland Group’s (Holland) CB400 Trailer Air-Ride Suspension/Slider System is now positioned as the standard suspension on its Tandem Van Trailers. The CB400 is the culmination of Holland’s latest patented technologies and proven product solutions that have created a new benchmark for air-ride suspension systems.

The CB400 was launched as Holland’s standard van trailer suspension in 2004. It features SwingAlign, the industry's fastest and most convenient axle alignment system; an advanced thin wall cast trailing arm for optimized strength and reduced weight; and PosiLok, an innovated dock walk and squat solution. The system also features Holland’s proven high-strength slider technology that provides unmatched durability and the QWIKRELEASE pin pull system that allows one person to reposition the slider and eliminates bound-up lock pins. These advancements are the result of leveraging technology across Holland’s extensive product breadth that includes fifth wheels, landing gear and other trucking components supported through Holland’s vast service support network.

“Holland has been a reliable supplier to Manac for more than twenty years,” said Charles Dutil, President of Manac. “We are very pleased that their efforts in air-ride suspensions systems will enable Manac to offer more competitive, state of the art components to our clients.”

“Manac’s decision to make the CB400 standard on its Tandem Van Trailers certainly affirms Holland’s investment in our suspension program,” says Harold Watling, President of Holland Canada. “Leveraging design and marketing resources across the Holland organization was critical in developing the CB400. We’ve developed product features and benefits based on the needs of the trailer market, and Manac’s confidence in this product proves to us that the industry has a real appreciation for the CB400’s advanced design and cost-effectiveness.”
