Kenworth of Fremont Opens Facility

Kenworth of Indianapolis has opened a 12,800-square-foot parts and service operation in Fremont, Ind., which joins a Kenworth dealer network of nearly 320 locations in the United States and Canada.

The parts and service operation is located on just over four acres at 7267 North Baker and is visible from the intersection of U.S. Interstate 69 and the Indiana East-West Toll Road (U.S. Interstates 80 and 90).

The dealership features three service bays and an 1,800-square-foot parts department to provide excellent parts availability. The new location also offers parts delivery service and a comfortable drivers’ lounge.

“Our new location in Fremont will make it more convenient for new and existing customers in northeast Indiana to get parts and service support from an experienced and qualified crew of parts staff and service technicians,” said John Nichols, president of Kenworth of Indianapolis. “We offer a large parts department with parts delivery, extended hours in the service department and a comfortable lounge for drivers. We look forward to serving customers in 2012 and beyond.”

Kenworth of Fremont is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is 260-495-2617. The service manager is Kyle Platt and the parts manager is Brandon Holley.

The new location is part of Kenworth’s constant commitment for superior satisfaction as demonstrated by Kenworth receiving the 2011 J.D. Power and Associates award for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction for Heavy Duty Truck Dealer Service.”

Kenworth of Indianapolis plans to hold a grand opening celebration for Kenworth of Fremont in the early part of 2012.

Both Kenworth of Fremont and Kenworth of Indianapolis are part of The Palmer Truck Group, which also operates locations in Evansville, Fort Wayne and Terre Haute, Ind., and Kenworth of Cincinnati and Kenworth of Dayton in Ohio.
