Kentucky Trailer Technologies earned Best of Show at TS2, the annual conference of the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). A judging panel of industry executives honored the specialty trailer manufacturer and its triple-expandable, 1,000-plus-sq-ft trailer -- the centerpiece of the Kentucky Trailer Technologies Mobile Marketing Tour 2005.
"In the heat of our first year of the Mobile Marketing Tour, we could not be more pleased with the results we've seen so far," said Wally Wallace, VP of sales and marketing at Kentucky Trailer. "Making such an impact in the industry, proven by awards like this one from TS2, tell us we have a great product and that we are becoming a force in the exhibition industry."
The Kentucky Trailer Technologies Mobile Marketing Tour sells the concept of mobile marketing, targeting corporate and agency executives looking to move beyond traditional campaigns. Through one-on-one visits with corporate marketing executives and stops at the nation's top tradeshows, potential customers can experience the brand, touch the product, and hear the message firsthand.
"We say that we expand the mobile marketing concept, one contact at a time," said Tom Harper, director of sales and marketing at Kentucky Trailer Technologies. "I spend half of my time educating the market on the benefits of mobile marketing and the other half showing them our expertise. This trailer is the flagship of our own marketing campaign."
The Mobile Marketing Tour Trailer commands immediate attention because of its sheer size. Expanded, it is 22 feet, 6 inches wide and 53 feet long. Entering from either of two rear doors, guests are similarly awed by the enormous 1,080 sq ft interior space. Kentucky Trailer Technologies outfitted the trailer with state-of-the-art wireless technology, satellite and DirectTV systems, a Smart Board, three plasma displays and Dolby Surround Sound. The trailer combines many of the unique features included on customer orders and several features new to the market.
