WANT to have nearly 14,000 trucks and trailers at your fingertips?

Check out the Truck & Trailer Locator on the left side of Trailer/Body Builders' Web site (http://trailer-body builders.com/), below the links used to subscribe to the magazine and newsletter.

It's part of a comprehensive inventory management software tool called SOARR (Sold On Arrival), produced by Interstate Online Software of Granville, Ohio. The available inventory comes from American Trucker customers, premium-marketing package customers, or those with SOARR software.

“The advantage of this one over the other locator systems is that it is updated by the dealers' management software, so as dealerships are inputting their inventory for the daily running of their business, it automatically goes to their Web site, which automatically takes that inventory and pushes it off onto the Locator,” says Ethan Nadolson, national sales manager for SOARR.

“That guarantees that inventory is going to be fresh. You won't be pulling up trucks from eight months ago. For the management of their inventory, they do things with our software like post spec sheets and inventory reports, keep track of the age of their inventory.”

Truck options include year range/make-model, sleeper size, transmission, state, engine make, model and horsepower, mileage, and price range.

Trailer options include type, year range, dimensions, state, capacity, body material, number of axles, suspension, rear door type, and price range.

One click and you'll get a list of every truck or trailer that meets your needs.

The Locator has been on http://trailer-body builders.com/ since early August. A total of 21 different Web sites are using it, including eight in the transportation unit of Primedia Business Magazines, which publishes Trailer/Body Builders.
