HD Dialogue ‘early bird’ registration extended to Dec. 15

The Dialogue ’06 early bird deadline has been extended to coincide with HDAW registration deadline.

This year’s program features a stellar line-up of expert speakers and thought-provoking topics.

J.S. (Jim) McReynolds, general manager, on-highway engines, Caterpillar Power Systems North America, will launch Dialogue ‘06 with a presentation on the challenges faced in the highly cyclical HD commercial vehicle business.

Other featured speakers include: Dr. Clinton Longenecker, professor of management and business administration, University of Toledo; Norman Mineta, U.S. Secretary of Transportation; Chris Patterson, CEO, Freightliner Corp.

The program also features two panel discussions:

-- “2007: How Bad/Good Could It Be,” moderated by Peter Nesvold, vice president, Bear, Stearns & Co. Panelists include: Chris Brady, Commercial Motor Vehicle Consulting; Martin Labbe, CEO, Martin Labbe Associates; Stu MacKay, CEO, MacKay & Co.; and Kenny Vieth, partner and senior analyst, ACT Research. -- “Purchasing Trends and Strategies for the 21st Century,” moderated by Tom Stundza, executive editor, Purchasing Magazine. Featured panelists are: Denise Clarkson, director of purchasing, TRW; Hugh Charvat, vice president, supply chain management, FleetPride; Dave Nelson, vice president, global supply chain management, Delphi Corp.; Mark Purtilar, vice president, procurement, ArvinMeritor

Anthony Lupo and Sarah Bruno, attorneys for Arent Fox, will present “Protecting Your Intellectual Property in a Global Market.”

HD Dialogue 2006 registration fees are $495 for HDMA member companies’ first registrant and $445 for each additional representative. After Dec. 15, fees increase $75. Attendees who are participating in HDAW can receive an addition $100 discount off HD Dialogue registration.
