David B Templeton has been named human resources director for Hendrickson International's Trailer Suspension Systems division. He comes to Hendrickson from TRW Inc, where he served most recently as director of human resources for the Engine Components Group in Cleveland OH.

Peterbilt Motors Co has named Irvin Bird of Allstate Peterbilt in South St Paul MN as 2000 Peterbilt/Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician of the Year.

Allison Transmission has appointed James L Wanaselja director - North American marketing, sales, and service. He was formerly Allison's director of North American sales.

ESAB Cutting Systems has named Robbie Smallwood to the new position of product manager - mechanized plasma/third-party software. Smallwood had been involved in research and development, customer demonstrations and training, and product testing. Steve Zlotnicki has been named large gantry systems product manager. His previous duties included two years as CNC product manager and three years as manager of technical documentation. Phil Lawson has been appointed product manager for retrofits and refurbished cutting systems. He previously was international project manager.

Alcoa Wheel Products has promoted Peter A Miller to northwestern territory sales manager. He joined Alcoa in 1995 as sales representative for western Canada. Andrew Duso has been appointed territory sales manager for the central states/Great Lakes region. Duso joined Alcoa as Midwest territory fleet sales representative in 1999.

Volvo Trucks North America Inc has named David Plaster vice-president-vocational sales. He served most recently as director of truck and vocational marketing.

Pacific Utility Equipment Co has added Kevin Dripps as applications specialist at its Portland (OR) Service Center. Dripps spent the past 12 years at Coast Crane & Equipment Co.

Sloan Transportation Products has promoted Brad Roth to sales and marketing manager. He previously was director of sales and marketing/director of OEM truck sales.

Andrew T "Drew" Ason has joined Hebco Products Inc as general manager. Before joining Hebco, he held senior management positions with Tenneco Automotive, Clevite Elastomers, Arvin, and Echlin.

Gregory Maffia is the new president of The Triangle Group, succeeding John Deardorff, who retired after heading the Triangle organization since 1972. Reporting to Maffia are Harry G Pehote, who was appointed to the new position of general manager - aftermarket; and Dennis McKinney, general manager of Detroit Steel Products Co Inc, who is responsible for The Triangle Group's original equipment market business. Pehote had been Triangle's vice-president of finance.

W A Whitney Co has appointed Dave Barber general manager of the Laser Business Unit. Barber brings more than 25 years of manufacturing experience to the company. Paul Muraski has become service manager - express products and services. He has served Whitney as a manager in international sales and service positions. Kent Drews has been named marketing and development manager - express products and services. Drews most recently was customer service manager.

Joe Murdock has joined Accuride's international division as director of international business development. Murdock comes to Accuride from CMI Corp in Oklahoma. Joining Accuride's strategic market planning department as international market manager is Gilles Olivier. He has worked extensively in international business management.

William F "Bill" Nelson has joined Lodi Equipment as general manager. Before joining Lodi, Nelson was employed as western regional manager for IMT.

John Doswell has been promoted to vice-president of sales and marketing for the Piranha Division of Mega Manufacturing, Inc. Doswell has been the general sales manager with the division for four years.
