Diesel rises 4.6 cents

After falling 1.1 cents last week, the national average price for a gallon of diesel increased 4.6 cents to $2.552 for the week ending November 13, according to the Energy Information Administration.

Prices increased in every region, with the Midwest experiencing the biggest increase (6.9 cents to $2.562) and New England the smallest (0.3-cents to $2.616). The most expensive region was California at $2.677 after a 4-cent increase. The cheapest was the Gulf Coast at $2.470 after a 2.1-cent increase.
