Diesel at record high... again

National diesel prices rose 0.5 cents to $1.874 per gallon last week, according to the Energy Information Administration. The price hike matches the record high that was posted three weeks ago.

National diesel prices rose 0.5 cents to $1.874 per gallon last week, according to the Energy Information Administration. The price hike matches the record high that was posted three weeks ago.

All regions posted an increase, except for California, where it took a 0.5-cent dip to $2.131 per gallon. The steepest hike was in the Lower Atlantic region, up 1.1 cents to $1.829.

The most expensive region to fill up is once again California, while truckers may want to consider filling up at the Gulf Coast, if possible, as it averaged $1.826.
